The purpose of Assembly Copier

 

Assembly copying or renaming in Autodesk Inventor is a task that is impossible to perform using standard file management tools of the Windows operating system because it is impossible to track all the links between files. Autodesk Inventor offers several methods to perform this function. These include Autodesk Vault Copy Design function and iLogic Design Copy command. We offer our own copying tool – Assembly Copier, which allows you to copy selected assemblies, give new names to files, conveniently manipulate the size of the fields on the component card (iProperties) or enable automatic numbering, using the plug-in development tools API.
